ARRIVAL IN CEBU
Look out for your ELKonnect Meet and Greet team who will meet you in the airport and take you & your belongings to the Shangri-La Hotel or wherever else you’re staying.

AFTERNOON AT YOUR LEISURE
Ease into the day at your own pace. You can recharge, wander around the resort, take a dip in the pool, or simply unwind after your flight. Think of it as your soft launch into ELKonnect week.

WELCOME DRINKS
We’ll get the party started with a social mixer, overlooking the beautiful beach in Mactan. Expect music, dancing, drinks & some pica-pica.

VISIT TO 5 ELK HEADQUARTERS
You’ll be heading to 5 ELK HQ – the heart of where everything happens. During your visit, you’ll take a guided tour, meet the people behind the scenes, and get a feel for how our teams work day to day. We’ll also share insights, learnings, and best practices from across the ELK community, and you’ll have time to exchange ideas with fellow business owners.

EVENING DINNER WITH YOUR TEAM
Head out for a meal with your team member and enjoy some real face-to-face time. They’ll know exactly where to take you – and if not, we definitely have recommendations. Cebu has plenty of great spots, whether you’re in the mood for comfort food or feeling adventurous. Your only job: enjoy the company.

KARAOKE SING OFF
After dinner, we’ll bring everyone back together for karaoke, because nothing builds connection quite like singing your heart out with people you just met. Expect a mix of confident performers, surprise talents, and that one song that gets the whole room involved.

MORNING AT YOUR LEISURE
Work mode: You can come and hang out in 5 ELK HQ to spend some more time with your team or do a team-building activity.
Play mode: You have the option to go scuba diving or snorkeling from your base in the Shangri-La.
Chill time: Feel free to recharge your batteries and take some ‘me’ time.

EVENING EVENT
More details will be shared closer to the event but expect something fun, memorable, and very ELKonnect-style.

ELKONNECT BARRIO FIESTA
Our final day is all about celebration, a chance to wrap up the week with good food, great company, and a whole lot of fun. Expect a Filipino-style feast, lively entertainment from the 5 ELK team, and a few surprises sprinkled in. It’s the perfect way to end ELKonnect on a high note and enjoy one last memory together before heading home.

ELKonnect is all about meaningful connection, the kind that strengthens your working relationship, builds trust, and gives you a real sense of what life is like inside 5 ELK. You’ll get to meet your offshore teammate in person, spend time in our Cebu office, learn alongside other business owners, and enjoy a mix of cultural and social activities. experiences that naturally bring teams closer.

Flights will be booked by you (our clients). This gives you full control over your travel times, preferred airlines, and any personal side trips you may want to tack on. Once your flights are confirmed, simply share your arrival and departure details with us so we can coordinate airport transfers and logistics smoothly.

You can expect a great balance of office time, learning sessions, cultural activities, and celebration events. For now, you can view our itinerary overview here.

Yes, partners and families are welcome. They can join all social activities included in the event. Just let us know the room setup you need when you register so we can arrange the right accommodation.

All delegates will be staying at Shangri-La Mactan, which will serve as our home base for the week. Check-in is on 4 March and check-out is on 8 March. It’s a beautiful and relaxing setting, perfect for unwinding between sessions and activities.

All transfers for office visits and official ELKonnect events will start and end at Shangri-La, so staying on-site ensures your movements are smooth, coordinated, and stress-free throughout the week.

Yes, you absolutely can. If you’d like to enjoy a few extra days before or after ELKonnect, we can extend our contracted rate of AUD $340 per night, up to three days before and three days after the event. Just let us know your preferred dates when you register, and we’ll help arrange everything so your stay remains seamless (and a little extra relaxing).

You can, however, we highly encourage staying at Shangri-La Mactan. All official transfers, pickups, and event logistics are streamlined from the hotel, and several ELKonnect activities will be held there as well. Staying on-site ensures you don’t miss anything, makes the experience smoother, and keeps you close to the rest of the ELKonnect community.

Most definitely! Your team member is very welcome to join you for ELKonnect 2026!

If they’re based in Pampanga or Dumaguete, they can absolutely fly over to Cebu to join the fun in person. We are happy to cover the cost of their flights if you cover the costs of their accommodation. We’re happy to help with guidance on affordable local hotel options near the event venue to make planning easier.

Absolutely – many clients do! You’re welcome to extend your stay before or after ELKonnect. Once your plans are clearer, we’ll be happy to assist with any logistics or arrangements needed to make your extended stay as smooth and productive as possible.

We will send a full packing list and preparation guide closer to the event. It will include helpful reminders so you arrive fully prepared.

We will do our best to ensure that all delegates can access the full ELKonnect experience. Please let us know in advance if you have any particular access/mobility/sensory/dietary requirements, so we can plan to meet your needs.
